Grants to kick off the New Year (2023)

The New Year is a time for personal reflection, resolutions, and change. The same applies to businesses!

What better way to start 2023 than with some free grant funding?

The New Year is a time for personal reflection, resolutions, and change. The same applies to businesses! January marks the start of a new chapter for businesses across the country as they make their plan for the year to come.

An important part of this planning process is financial planning. This extends to hiring, training, and expansion initiatives as all of these activities cost money. As you plan out the next 12 months, be sure to consider how grant funding can support your business goals. Grants can cushion your bottom line and give you some financial breathing room at a time when finances are a challenge for many small businesses.

To help you with your planning, we’ve put together a list of grants that are open in January 2023. These grants are for a range of industries and regions in Canada. To make it easier, we’ve categorized them into hiring, training, market expansion, and others. It’s important to note that this list isn’t exhaustive – we’ve chosen to highlight the most popular grants to look out for this month.
