Stephanie, a true Vancouverite, vowed never to be an entrepreneur, though she comes from four generations of business owners. Stephanie holds a degree in international marketing, and worked in various industries including tourism and technology, before establishing herself in a VP role with an international manufacturer in Taiwan. After ten years of fast-paced Asian living, and success in developing her family business to pre-IPO stage, she returned to Vancouver in 2010 to start Granted Consulting. As head ‘grant angel’, Stephanie and her team impact businesses in B.C. by helping them leverage grant opportunities successfully. Stephanie inspires to grow a business that integrates both technology and white-glove service to cater to the needs of the market.
Rukshaar Ali
Senior Grant Strategist
Ruk joined Granted in 2018, coming from a sales and marketing background. With over 10 years of experience serving clients in various industries including retail, manufacturing, and Fin-Tech. With a BBA in Marketing Management, Ruk leverages her professional experience and passion for helping clients to lead Granted's consultants and deliver unparalleled quality service.
Matthew Yeung
Research Manager
Since completing his undergrad at UBC, Matthew has worked in various research roles exploring the applications of psychometric profiling techniques in alternative financial data. Having worked in tech startups, he truly understands the importance of grant funding and understands the customer pain points. Matthew aims to use his research experience to help more businesses get the funding they need and to help Granted expand its national coverage.
Ashpreet Thind
Lead Grant Coordinator
An SFU graduate, Ashpreet grew up in Vancouver, and can’t imagine calling anyplace else home. From past work, lived experiences, and volunteer work, Ashpreet has learned to be adaptable, caring, and efficient which allows her to succeed in her role as a Lead Grant Coordinator. She has a wide variety of hobbies (digital painting, whittling and collaborative storytelling to name just a few) and is always looking to learn new skills!
Connor Halsey
Lead Grant Coordinator
Connor joined Granted as a Grant Coordinator at the start of 2022. His background is in Business Management and Administration, which he graduated from Langara College for in 2020 with a BBA in Business Management. Prior to joining Granted, Connor has worked in other coordinating and customer service-based roles. Connor enjoys the variety of different people and companies that he works with at Granted and looks to bring his customer service focused mindset to Granted’s community.
Erin Bedard
Grant Strategy Consultant & Clean Tech Specialist
Erin Bedard is the Grant Strategist of the clean-tech pod here at Granted Consulting. Over the past few years, Erin has obtained a diploma in Environmental Studies and a Bachelors degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria. Having collaborated with many community-based organizations, Erin knows the value that grants have for business owners. She enjoys the variety of work that she gets to do at Granted and is thrilled to be working in an industry that helps other businesses succeed.
Stefanie Ioannides
Grant Coordinator
Stefanie joined Granted in March 2022, coming from a variety of industries like government, education, and marketing. Growing up in a household of two entrepreneurs, she understands the importance of businesses’ reliance on grant funding to grow. Living in Innisfil, Ontario, Stefanie spends her free time playing and watching soccer and football, reading, and enjoying the lake at her family’s cottage.

Stephanie leverages her creative problem solving skills to help Granted’s Professional Service Clients' strategically grow their businesses through grant funding.
Lauren McLellan
Account Manager
Lauren joined Granted with 15+ years in the events and hospitality industry. With her love for hosting people and providing top notch service, she’s found a new passion in helping SME’s in the Food and Beverage Sector leverage grant funding. When she’s not at work, she’s usually on the beaches of Vancouver Island with her dog.
