About the Grant
In 1998, WomensNet established the Amber Grant to pay tribute to the remarkable Amber Wigdahl, whose entrepreneurial dreams were cut short at 19. Fast forward to today, and WomensNet continues this meaningful tradition by generously awarding a minimum of $30,000 monthly in Amber Grant funds. The Amber Grants consist of four distinct women’s business grants: the Monthly Amber Grant, the Startup Grant, and the Annual $25,000 Amber Grant.

To be eligible for these grants, applicants simply need to submit one application, and they will automatically be considered for all the grants they qualify for. These grants aim to provide support to women-owned businesses in both Canada and the United States.
