Let’s start with the Government of Canada website. It may not be the most riveting website visit, but it’s the holy grail of grant resources for small Food & Beverage business owners. On the business and industry page, you’ll find a myriad of financial tools at your fingertips beyond grants, including tax credits, and special low- or no-interest loans. It even has a Business Benefits Finder that allows you to filter and scroll through available grants. 

Food & Beverage businesses have access to a network of organizations that exist to support food businesses. If you’re not already a member of any industry groups, we highly recommend signing up and getting on their newsletter lists. Additionally, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) where you can browse programs and services in place to support your food business. This is an excellent platform to gain insights into the support available for Food & Beverage businesses on a federal level.
